This story implies some matters that may need further inquiry, but I do not think these findings are substantive. While serving as First Lady, Senator Clinton may have had some meetings with important people and discussed some issues that pertain to very sensitive issues. I am glad she did not itemize those issues in her day-timer for someone to find. In addition, on diplomatic visits there will always be some posturing involved. The fact that the tea parties and social gatherings took place with the spouses, while the heads of states meet on issues should not really surprise any one.
The subpoenaed documentation did raise my eyebrows a bit. I would like to get more information on that.
If you want to say that Senator Clinton lacks real National Security experience, say that. Making assumptions about events you are ignorant of accomplishes nothing.

Let's get real and stop the exaggerations, the only presidential experience that one can have is that of being president, not going on trips with or sitting in meetings with the president. On my job, I do not get experience credit for sitting in meetings with my department heads or listening to others give speeches, etc. Such situations do not and should not count as experiences that will enable you to handle situations as president or in other positions.

Each of our presidents have learned on the job. Some have done well and others have not done so well. If you are speaking of experience for a second term president, his/her first term qualifies as presidential experience, good or bad.

Senators Clinton, McCain and Obama have congressional and possibly other experiences and should leave it at that. Presidential experience comes only from being president, not from wanting to be president.

So typical, today the media is transfixed with Hillary Clinton's first lady schedule from the 90's, while her opponent has on one hand, Tony Resco and the other his preacher of over 20 years, not to mention whatever else the media chooses to ignore. Shameless bias, Obama yesterday justifies his pastor and quickly turned the whole thing around so people from all walks of life somehow end up feeling guilty when it was he who supported and was inspired by this pastor, even getting the title of one of his books from this guy.
Obama is The Music Man, Professor Harold Hill, he is a salesman, a rainmaker. If Clinton does not beat him, McCain surely will in the fall. How many other surprises are to be learned about his past? Still the media finds the schedule of the first lady far more newsworthy.

Has it really come to this? Must America know the full details of every minute of a First Lady's calendar, every meeting she attended and who else was present? Is it really newsworthy material that she happened to take a 25 minute breather after learning about some disturbing news, or that she actually enjoyed a few days of vacation without any "official" events (i.e., a true "vacation")? I think not.

Obviously, America wants to get to know as much as possible about our presidential candidates. This however, goes beyond that and attempts to cast a dark shadow on Senator Clinton based on what appear to be rather innocent and justifiable (should SHE decide she needs to do so, which she does not) pieces of information (note, I do not call these "facts"). The mere use of the word "tantalizing" in the headline alone sets the tone which is permeated through the article -- that "missing" details from a calendar must somehow mean she is up to something unlawful.

If the "investigative journalism" displayed above is supposed to be indicative of "DEEP BACKGROUND" investigation, as the huge fonted pronouncement above implies, then our nation is in trouble. Am I surpised that one date above shows Hillary Rodham Clinton unavailable for 25 whole minutes due to a private meeting? No, not at all. Did it happen to be a very difficult day in her life when she surely needs a few private minutes? Sure. So? Even if it were any ordinary day in the White House, is she supposed to have been on videotape 24/7 or something? It seems to me that anyone needs SOME private time. I'm not surprised there are times listed as "private meeting". Business professionals all over the country use the term "private meeting" on their electronic calendars. The problem is that nothing hard has been sent his way in terms of tough questions while nothing but hard edged reports have been made on her. These things about Clinton are likely true, but it seems odd that now they come out when the Obama encounters a little hiccup. Remember you are supposed to be objective as a journalist, right!

Being "First Lady" in not a strong credential for being President, never has been and never will be. This case is no exception no matter how you spin it and this aricle and the referenced documents just supports this position.

In this particular case "being First Lady" did bring a lot of "baggage" with the candidate (HRC) and a lot of it is negative (e.g.,all the "...gates", especially "Monica-gate" falsely blaming the "...vast right-wing conspiracy"...). Right or wrong, this baggage will severely limit both her electibility and her eventual effectiveness as President if elected. I strongly believe about half of the electorate and US Congress would not forget or put aside this "baggage" and it would remain an extremely strong impediment to any significant progress in her administration. That is why I remain an "ABC" voter, "Anybody But Clinton".

Obama may have some baggage to, but not nearly as significant or debilitating. His messge and spirit of melding diverse groups is far more credible than the divisive history and baggage of HRC. As President she can not and will not be as effective as Obama and that alone is sufficent to be an "ABC" voter, in both the primary election and the general election.

The most important role the President has is as a leader and communicator. If Mr. Obama has demonstrated anything it is that he can perform that function far better than Mrs. Clinton. He continues to deliver on the campaign trail a message about hope and possibilities that has resonated with so many that have heard him. Isn't that what we want and need rather than the message of the last decade or more that says I disagree with you, therefore I hate you and so should everyone else? The Senator from New York has mostly shown herself to continue that divisive message both in the White House and the Senate, as did her husband and the Republicans that opposed them and followed after them. If experience is important, shouldn't we also judge the value (or success) of that experience? Let's look back to Mrs. Clinton's first big public policy role as First Lady-chairing the President's Task Force on Heath Care Reform. She was roundly criticized for conducting closed door meetings on the issue; the plan devised under her leadership couldn't even garner enough votes to get to the floor of either the House or the Senate despite Democratic majorities in both; and many pollsters cite the plan as a major reason for the Republican Party retaking control of both houses of Congress in 1994. The remainder of her time as First Lady was devoted to issues that almost everyone could get behind-or at least find hard to oppose-fighting violence against women and promoting child care. Mr. Obama, like Mrs. Clinton, has been a successful lawyer. He has served admirably in the Illinois legislature, and like Mrs. Clinton, is a United States Senator, albeit with less experience. Speaking of experience, I'm not sure that there is any experience that can prepare someone for the Presidency. However, there is at least one former President whose experience closely mirrors that of Mr. Obama. This President grew up in poverty but eventually became a lawyer. He was elected to his state legislature, but his only national political experience comes from a single two-year term in the U.S. House of Representatives, and as a prominent voice in his party. That President was Abraham Lincoln and he courageously led this country through its darkest hours. I can't say that Mr. Obama is the next Lincoln, but of the three candidates looking to November I sincerely believe he has the greatest potential to see us through these dark times.

I am then stunned to hear these same talking heads complain about a lack of discussion of the "real issues" facing the American electorate. It is as if the Media seems more interested in creating news for ratings or enhancing the moderator’s status than reporting news and encouraging discussions of the issues that are really important in this election. The behavior of the media has harmed both candidates and reduced the level of debate to a low common denominator of gender verses race, anger, and resentment. During that time I attended numerous functions with officers and directors of major corporations present.

I find it hilarious that Black people feel a direct (hes one of us!)connection with Obama, when he has more in common with white slave owners than black slaves. His father is from Kenya and other than skin tone, genetically quite different from black slaves brought to the Americas from the African continent.For all we know given the fact that blacks sold their own people to make a profit in Africa, its very possible Obama's ancestors were slave salesmen!? I guess we can only speculate until this group of NBC reporters actually do some real investigative journalism. He has nothing in common with American blacks. That being said I hate to think we would elect Obama just to say finally a black president. As if Bush hasnt done enough things wrong, lets put one more incompetent person in the top position for 4years and hope for the best. For me McCain or Clinton will do much better than Obama could do at this point in his life. At Least Hillary spent 8years in the white house I am sure she learned a thing or two. This is a little off topic, but why isn't anyone upset that we would even consider electing someone who admits to the amount of drug abuse that Sen. Obama admits to. So he admits it, and that makes it alright? I grew up in the 60s and 70s and as a teenager I feared the day when ex-drug abusers would be running our country. Now that day is upon us and I fear this even more. I never gave into peer pressure, and I never experimented with drugs. I don't think admitting to drug abuse due to peer pressure makes it forgivable. I feel he is sending the wrong message to our youth. “It's ok to try drugs as long as you don't get arrested for them and you openly admit to doing so,” As long as you don't have a criminal record, you can even run for President of the USA and win. How many of Sen. Obama’s supporters would hire someone to work for them who has just admitted to a past drug abuse history? I’m not saying this past makes him a bad person, but I feel it should definitely exclude anyone from running for President.

Hillary Clinton is an admirable woman however, her '35-years of experience' are overblown..over the top...just like this entire campaign year!
Truth be told, Barack Obama has more legislative experience than the NEW Senator from New York...a state she moved to just so she could run for political office, and won on the coattails of a populus that felt sorry for her and also admired her for her guts when the entire world got to experience the shock and awe of her husband's (the president) adultery with his intern. Let's face it, she's a bright lady, who has known for decades of her husband's philanderings with women.
Does that qualify her to be President? Does speaking to a few leaders of foriegn countries, sitting in on some policy meetings?
There are larger issues out there. Why is she so adamant about not disclosing her income tax statements? Peel back the layers of that and see what's really under all of the bravado. Did everyone directly involved in the Whitewater Scandal really die within a short time? Most voters are ready for the campaign mudslinging we usually witness during elections.

I have met many politicians of various levels in various countries, although by no means, does my work involve politics. Certainly the fact that Mrs. Clinton was close to the Presidency, does not qualify her to be President. i think that if you are going threw the files of evrybody else in this thing let bush and his wife tell what they got to hide i am sure it is alot more than the clinton family like the oil he dont have to worry about oil when he gets out hell he owns it and is going to live off it when he get out of there i think that he will make money off the usa cause he owns oil so ha we are the ones suffering not the past future president they have it made.

It’s a shameful inflation by Hillary to claim her social, wifely support role as foreign relations experience.

As a conservative, I prefer to think that someone who worked for social causes – in the trenches- such as Obama has done has a better understanding of what is needed in the world today.

Many of our problems at home and around the world originate in economic hopelessness. Let’s fix those things first at home and abroad. Obama has my vote! I am a conservative middle-aged “white” female and his strategy makes most sense to me.

I appreciate that someone has actually taken the time to point out HRC's area of experience as a First Lady. I'm so tired of her claiming to have the experience needed to be President, when she in fact, was not President at the time her "experience" was gained.
She was the First Lady, and as such, was expected to be under the public eye at all times. The mere idea that so many pages had to be blacked out is atrocious, and I'd like to know who selected which areas would be omitted. Such knowledge would greatly enhance this article.

WHY doesn't CNN televise, everyday, Hillary EXAGERATING her Bosnia experience and show the Video tapes of her actual arrival in Bosnia, and her clear diatrabe about bullets over her head, etc., just like Cnn keeps playing the /Rev Wright tape? AND where is John Glasgow the Chief Financial Officer AND Contractor to the Clinton Presidential Library during the audit of the Library?His car and wallet were found in a Park but no Glasgow 1-28-08. Similar situation of Vince Foster, his dead body was found in a
Washington DC Park by a Ranger with NO BLOOD EVIDENCE to suicide?? Within 2 hours, Fosters Legal files were taken out BEFORE investigators went to his office, and 2 years later a Clinton Aide "discovered" those files in the private Clinton quarters of the White House! Which brings us back to that nagging question.. Where are the Clinton Tax Returns????I will CONTINUE to email this diatrabe to ALL the major NEWS MEDIA daily....At least the Huffington Post reports NEW Information daily and CNN doesn't even keep up like the Huffington Post, Cafferty keeps up the TRUTH but his files are not shown during the evening time when People need to hear about the Bosnia lie.

What a short memory people have. At the beginning of the campaign, Hillary presented herself as the presumptive candidate. When faced with an opponent who did the homework and groundwork and won the majority of popular votes, she went from the "Natural" candidate to playing the "victim". Initially she welcomed the media attention, then, when things went south, she resented it claiming that the media was "picking" on her. Subsequently, her campaign's attempts to shift the focus from her to Barack have boomeranged, drawing attention to her "kitchen sink" tactics. Hillary behaves too much like George W. Never wrong. Can't admit to her own shortcomings. And she wants to be "The Decider". I prefer a candidate who can weather the storm and remain poised and focused on the issues that face this country. Someone who refuses to become mired in the traditional muckraking and mudslinging that has been an accepted practice in American politics. Say what you will about Barack Obama, "empty suit" and all, but it is undeniable that he has the 3 Cs, Character, Charisma, and most of all , CLASS.

I don't believe that the media has taken a harsh look at Hilliary Clinton any more than any other candidate. I believe that Hillary just expected for DEMS to accept her with open arms no questions asked and it has ben quite an eye opener for her. I was a huge Bill Clinton fan and think Hillary is a brilliant woman. However, her bitterness, her entitlement attitude and per choices her campaign has made has pretty much sealed her fate for me. I don't want my President to ask why are they picking on me...I don't feel I need to defend my President with accusations that the press is being too mean.

The clintons have always imbelished the truth.
Obama however disclosed his schedules before they had their last debate, when they were still asking for Hillary's. He has also disclosed his 2007 tax returns. Where is Hillary's? I just wonder why there were so many pages,of her schedule unavailable to the public. I suppose it will be an exciting election this fall. I can hardly wait.

Why do people fall so easily for Clinton's nonsense. Who cares wheter she flew to other countries, met with leaders or not? This doesn't make anyone fit to do anything except travel for free and talk with people. We all qualify based on that.

I would travel all over the planet as well if I had airforce 2 and an army of caregivers to pamper my every minute.

The fact is we need fresh blood, not the same ole politicians we always have. We are so used to nothing getting done, and so scared of some made up possible negative that we can't see straight!

We've had good presidents, we've had lackluster presidents, and we've had bad presidents. Life went on. Try something new when you can't get out of the rut.

Stop following what Clinton says is important in a president (always the things she can twist her way) and start thinking for yourself.
