(I was young and didn't work in DC or with lobbyists or lawyers. Despite being a kid with no government contacts, I knew in less than 72 hours that the six Americans were in the Canadian Embassy. I'm not foolish enough to think I was--or am--smarter than the Iranis who lived in the city where the uprising occurred.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It is a mistake to assume that since the world is having a financial meltdown, the fringe elements in the Islamic world will decide now is not a good time to unleash their next major terror attack.
