If even just a few of these allogations were true, our government and it's leaders have lost their way. This is NOT what the framers of our constitution had in mind. How could this happen in "the land of the free"???

The ex-press "spokesperson" for President Bush has recently admitted that Cheney, Rove, Bush, Libby, and others lied or did not tell the truth about who leaked the identity of CIA operative Valerie Plame. Plame's identity was leaked in retaliation for her husband's attempt to prevent another Executive Branch lie regarding sales of "yellow-cake" uranium from Africa to Middle Eastern terrorists, from being used to support another Executive Branch lie about Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq. All of this was occurring about the time that Bush, Cheney & Rumsfeld took every opportunity to lie about a link between Iraq and the events of "9/11". But this was before all the lies compiled by the Bush/Cheney- directed "9/11 Commission" to explain that day... were published. In every case, the news networks were key instruments in distributing the lies to the American public. Look back at when "Fox News" became a major distributor of mass missinformation and when Dan Rather/ "60 Minutes" were "taken down" for exposing the lies about Bush's so-called "military service" during the Vietnam "conflict". Now, once you realize that all these lies lead back to the Executive Branch of our govenment, and investigating them gets blocked by "Executive Privilege" and claims of "National Security risk", you might begin to see why those who mailed the "Anthrax letters"- which contained bacteria identified as originating from U.S. military Biowarfare Labs, may never be identified. It's curious how so many lies can be known, that led to so many American deaths without raising the possibility of treason or, heaven forbid- impeachment!

I agree with Mark...whatever happened to being innocent until proven guilty? How would YOU like to be accused of a crime and have the information leaked to the press? How do you prove your innocence to the press? We have rights in a courtroom, but we have NO rights when it comes to the press.

As far as the government is concerned, those who work for the government should know better. After all, a government is not some higher power which answers to nobody, but a group of people just like us. They should know better, and they should remember that they answer to the people too.

I am an Asian American and love my country (USA) just like any other americans if not more. 3 days ago I went to renew my driver license. I was in the line for a while, when I made to the counter the very first thing I was asked was "do you have a proof that you are here in the United States legally?" I told her I am an american citizen and her reply was "do you have a proof?" Please note nobody else was asked that question and I was the only person there did not look black or white.

Let someone you know become involved in a federal investigation of any sort and your eyes will never close again. Both Steven Hatfill and Dr. Assaud of Fort Detrick were "persons of inerest" in the beginning investigation. Dr. Assaud was perfectly framed as he claimed. Hatfill was perfectly framed also leading to confusion within the FBI. It appears that our system of justice has finally restored, to some degree, Hatfill's life, and I wish him well.

Although, let's take a look at the greater picture with rhetorical questions. Who perpetrated the anthrax attacks in Florida with letters sent to Argentina and Brazil? Who perpetrated the last two attacks with letters sent to Zurich, Switzerland, and Santiago, Chili? Were the attacks out of Trenton, New Jersey, from one perpetrator source, and then the other attacks were perpetrated by copy cat attackers? Yet, recall that the Boca Raton attack occured fist. And what about the attacks in New York and Connecticut? Could there be a link between all attacks domestic and international? If that were so, then one would want to broaden their view of the puzzle, and look for a very clever operation that was able to frame one person, and perpetrate attacks that would confuse investigators. Otherwise, the whole series of attacks would require at least two perpetrators or more. Theories are just that: theories.
