The 'lost' Palin files

When federal judges in San Francisco ruled in 2002 that reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools was unconstitutional because it included the phrase "under God," Sarah Palin was not amused. Palin, who at the time was Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, quickly drafted a terse letter to the editor of a San Francisco newspaper.

“Dear Editor,” Palin wrote in 2002. “San Francisco judges forbidding our Pledge of Allegiance? They will take the phrase ‘under God’ away from me when my cold, dead lips can no longer utter those words,” Palin wrote.

 “God Bless America,” she concluded.

Hundreds of notes and letters
Palin’s letter to the editor is one of hundreds of personal notes and letters written by the former Mayor, and obtained this week to NBC News and others. The documents shed light on the management style--and personality--of the small town mayor turned vice presidential candidate.

There are few headline grabbers in the lot. Even Palin’s Pledge-of-Allegiance rant was a commonly held view at the time. (The U.S. Supreme Court later overturned the ruling on technical grounds. But not before Palin pushed through a city resolution stating that the Wasilla City Council “shall continue to recite America’s Pledge of Allegiance, in its entirety, including and especially the words, ‘…one nation, under God…”)

While hardly earth shattering, Palin’s personal missives can be revealing.

Consider the letter to Mike Doogan, then a columnist for the Anchorage Daily News.

Doogan had written in the paper on March 5, 2002, that lawmakers were considering moving the state legislature to Wasilla. “Now, I disrespect Wasilla as much as the next guy, but this seems a little extreme,” Doogan quipped. “Isn't being a blight on the landscape enough shame for Wasillians?”

Palin couldn’t resist. Two days later, she wrote a personal letter that simply said:

“Dear Mr. Doogan: Why do you do what you do to Wasilla?”

She signed it, “Respectfully, Sarah.”

Dear Senator Stevens
Several other letters in the old files further confirm Palin’s close relationship with Senator Ted Stevens, who was the state’s go-to lawmaker for the congressionally approved pet spending projects called earmarks. Palin wrote to Stevens at least three times in 2002 alone, asking for funding for a $150,000 “floatplane study” for Wasilla, an airport instrument landing system for the city, railroad depot improvements and a “Land Mobile Radio Project” for emergency responders. She got most of it, as previously reported here. “Thank you for your continued support,” she writes.

Minutiae matters
The correspondence also reveals an extreme attention to detail and a political deftness that clearly served her well as mayor. Palin wrote more thank-you notes than Miss Manners. She made sure she personally welcomed every new business owner to town. And every new baby too.

--“Dear Tracy, We heard the news! Congratulations from the City of Wasilla on the birth of your daughter,” she penned to one local resident.

--“Dear Porky, Thank you so much for the smoked salmon!” she wrote to another supporter.

--“Dear Trudy, Thank you so much for the beautiful Cyclamen plant. I appreciate you so much. God bless you,” she wrote.

--“To Allure Day Spa Staff, Thank you so much for the awesome facial that I received from Allure Day Spa a few weeks back,” she continued.

--“Dear Mr. Brittingham, Thank you so much for returning my pen to me after the Chamber meeting today,” the mayor wrote.

As the city files make clear, Palin wrote endless recommendations for local students, seemed to honor every Eagle Scout in a 200-mile radius and, as might be expected, obsessed over all things snow related. There are warnings about snow blowing and snowmachine safety, earnest letters regarding avalanche awareness and proclamations honoring sled-dog racing.

Smiley-face sincerity
Her letters are informal, even homey.

In a note to a Wasilla landscape firm thanking the owners for donating a tree, she writes, “You’re the best!” in pen and scribbles a smiley face, too.

In a letter to a businessman in Wasilla, she hand writes, “Thanks for all you do, Dude!”

The trove of old letters also makes clear how small Wasilla truly is.

“Under City of Wasilla Account 100-0074, please disconnect cell phone number 354-7676,” she wrote in 2002.

It was Mayor Palin, and not a low-level office worker, who was responsible for making sure the local phone company disconnected cell-phone service for some city workers.

Comments

These are the scariest times I've lived through and I am a 60 year old woman who remembers the 1962 Cuban Missle Crisis and all that in inferred. To think that this sophomoric, light weight could inherit the presidency were the 72 year old twice bitten melanoma survivor suffer recurrence is an abomination to me.  There were competent candidates to place on the ticket.  Pandering to the religious "wrong" and trying to take Hillary's voters (lots a luck with that) instead of putting someone with some actual foreign policy experience and understanding, someone who can speak extemporaneously without sounding stupid (she sounds much better reading from a script that she didn't come close to writing herself)is a frightening thing to me.  Be afraid, be very afraid of Sarah Palin as vice-president.  I sure am.  My choice would have been Mitt Romney, with economic expertise or Tom Ridge.  That wanna-be Joe Lieberman needs to high tail it back to the democrats - he can't be trusted, but Romney could.  What was McCain thinking?  I may have to sit this election out.  Sigh.
Sarah Palin has no evident grasp of diplomacy. She gives no evidence of understanding that the country has a longstanding tradition of a separation of church and state. A poor student by her college record, she is unprepared to use any independent knowledge and judgement in trying to help this country out of its economic problems.
Were it not for her gender, she would bring nothing to the GOP ticket that thousands of others would not do better.
Wow, I can't believe the angry comments on here, especially the ones that say we need some "tough" person in the White House and someone who's "not going to waste our tax dollars". Well, since those types of comments are against Palin and thus McCain, are they trying to say that Obama and Biden are going to be tough and not waste tax dollars? That's the funniest thing I've read today! Liberal democrats are the kings of wasting money, especially someone elses. Tough? Oh my. Tough on the economy and anyone who actually wants to work for a living and be successful. Liberals are so funny! I just watched Bill Maher and he had Janeane Garofalo as a guest and she said, "Democrats are funamentally more decent than Republicans". I almost "clinged to my gun" and shot my TV! From my experience, Democrats only have compassion or understanding for people with their EXACT same thoughts and beliefs (approve of abortion, accept gay marriage, tax and spend, be against gun ownership and hunting, be an Atheist, etc)... As soon as you have conflicting beliefs (believe in God and creation, against gay marriage, go hunting, eat meat, believe in the strenght of capitalism, etc), you're hated, put down, called names, called a "braindead Bible thumper" and the like.

Also, why can't a liberal answer a question with an answer? Why if you ask a liberal to explain dumb things Obama has said or done, or the MANY dumb things Biden has said, they answer, "yeah, but what about Bush.. or what about Palin.. or McCain", instead of just saying, "well yes, I think Obama's assocation with Ayers probably isn't good". Better yet, I'd love to see a liberal say why they condone Obamas preacher or Ayers, or Flager or Resko! Please, tell me why you support Obama based on those things! I'd love to hear it!

However, most dumb liberals don't know or care to know about Obama or Biden. It's not like they're ever going to hear anything bad about them from MSDNC, or ABC or CNN or CBS.

Oh well, there's my rant. It won't change a thing, but I'll feel better at least. Liberals are happy to have their "messiah", and they could care less what he thinks, says, does or believes. He's NOT Bush and he IS a liberal...that's all they need to vote for him. If he wins, enjoy your new country! We can call it Amerika, since we'll either be Socialist or Communist. Of course, the typical tree-humping liberal won't care, they're more than happy to give up a portion of their stuff to give it to someone who never worked so much as a second for it. Me, I'm proud of the fact that I've worked hard my whole adult life for what I have. I'm not going to willingly give my wealth, my home or any of my possessions to some loser who has decided to sit at home and do nothing. - Oh by the way, for all you liberal haters that are going to write something bad about my post because I live in Utah.. I'm NOT a Mormon!
Everyone, take a deep breath, and ask yourself two questions: 1. What has Palin done in office? 2. What has Obama done in office?

In Alaska, Palin has taken on the corrupt politicians in her own party and been so successful, her state's Democrats give her an approval rating of 75%.

In Chicago, Obama has never tried to take on the city's corrupt politicians, must less defeated them. Some, in fact, are his friends. What is his popularity rating among Illinois Republicans? Rather dismal I suspect, and for good reason.

In Alaska, Palin defeated three major oil companies who wanted major tax breaks for building a natural gas line to the states. She gave the contract to an experienced outside contractor, who's already begun work.

In his entire life, has Obama never taken on a single corporation eager for a government handout? No, if fact in the Senate only Çhris Dodd, a fellow liberal Democrat, has taken more lobbyist money from mortgage conglomerates Freddie Mae and Freddie Mac than Obama.

Do you want the demonstrated competence of Palin or the smooth-talking Obama who's never done anything of significance in his entire life.

If you want to know what someone will do, look at what they have done.

I used to live in Alaska, about 15 years ago I had a face to face conversation with a Russian citizen. We  even exchanged gifts, I sent a box of oranges to his children and a make-up kit to his wife. We had the help of an interpeter.  I'd bet big bucks Sarah has never seen a Russian in person. There is NO WAY IN HECK she can see Russia from her back porch in Wasilla.  Not possible! Has she ever put her toe in the Bering Sea?  I have.  I was also raised (with the scars to prove it) in Sarah's same church.  She lies.  She steals.  She is vindictive and mean. She claims to be a born again christian... so did George.   Does she send "I am sorry I was an ass cards"?  In Sarah's famous words "Thanks but no thanks"  She is rotten to the core and corrupt.  Just ask the Witch doctor guy. What big snake was he trying to keep away from her?  This is no lady, no way.  Think about it folks.  One heart beat away.
I  am a registered democrat and I own a gun.  I also grew up with them and can shoot really well.     I have never killed a living thing though. Don't want to, don't need to.If she becomes president of the United States of America. We better all have an exit plan.  It won't be nice or good.  I love my country.  I have had so much shame and pain for what the last administration has done.  We need to change our pledge to one nation, with laws for all, money enough to eat and pay our bills ,have a roof over our heads, respect and love for all the people in the world, no mater what color or creed or religion they are. Under GOD.
Does anyone remember the famous words "I am a uniter not a divider?"
She is just like McCain and Rove, and Bush and Cheney, I could go on and on but you get the idea.
A once Proud American.
Living In Arizona I surly can't contact my representative in congress or the senate.  I would just like to know what happened to the government  of the people, by the people and for the people?
Dear Julie from Wasilla:

Yes, Canada is a foreign country, and Wikipedia says that Palin rewrote the requirements for the gas pipeline so that the only company that qualified to build it is a Canadian one. So is it okay with you that US jobs are outsourced to foreign countries as long as those countries are not overseas? She brags about jobs she's ended, but never mentions job creation. And that's just one of my many concerns with her.
I hope all the Palin supporters are thrilled when they get that personal card from her (with the smiley face).   "Thanks so much for your kindness at the voting booth!  I appreciate you so much!  Maybe we'll have better luck in 2012!  Sarah"
New has to be better. Lawyers are taught how to twist and bend the statement to achieve a certain goal.  If you can not twist and bend to achieve your goal you do not make a living. I think a majority of our political representatives are lawyers and where has that led us. Most of the best have come from different walks of life not the life that has been led in deception (Lawyers). We need to flush them out of office and get "REAL" people who know how to run a home or a small enterprize.
By the way have you seen Mr. Biden's company advertisement?  Home Lending, we can help
sounds like a kiss --- with nothing better to do.I bet ya for as nice as she pretends to be she could be a total calculated two faced B---H.Oh by the way how, she differs from me and the people around me so much i think she could be a puppet for big OIL.And we are too busy just trying to put food on the table and be with our Families to set a political agenda.Sara go home and be a better Mother.Know your place.
Like so many of the Americans on this thread I am convinced, based on the fact that she can write a thank-you note and once sent a letter to the editor in favor of the Pledge of Allegiance, that Palin would be the Best. President. Ever.

If we really have this many idiots in this country then maybe we deserve the downgrade in global status and the economy of a 3rd world country. This much smug stupidity should not have a leadership role in the world.
I dont question Palins faith, I question her ability to run a country, given her educational shortcomings, posessing a degree in journalism, whereas Biden and Obama are well versed concerning international relations. McCain, no degrees and finishing 894th of 899 in the service.
D.J. (Thursday, September 25, 2008 9:45 PM)

And Dubya was 893 in his class of 899 which is exactly why we don't want 4 more years of fighter pilots in office who think with their B*lls rather than their brains (no matter how small they are)

Dear god in heaven... can this woman be any more dense and stupid? Heaven help us if this ticket gets elected!
Politeness and good manners does not qualify a person for Vice President.  We know pretty much nothing about her, except she is gov. of Alaska and surrounds herself with her own inner circle of high school buddies.  Are we going to learn much about her before the election?  No, the Republican's are shielding her from the press and interviews.  Apparently, she isn't qualified for vice president or they wouldn't be doing the shielding.  I find it frightening that McCain could get elected and this woman could end up being President of the United States.  She has not been gov. long enough to know how she handles situations.  Did she tell her 7 supeonaed aides not to appear for questioning?  I just don't trust her.
I'm all about writing thank-you notes and all, but if you have the time to congratulate new moms on their little bundles of joy, you should sure as heck have the time to know that your 7,000-person town's police chief is insisting on charging rape victims for rape kits. She said she had no idea that he petitioned the state legislature for six months to keep charging for rape kits...meanwhile she had time to write journalists in SF.

Wake up Americans. We cannot possibly let this woman at this point in her career run our country.   prefereably never, but especially not now.
I can't believe I read something "nice" about Sarah Palin from MSNBC. CONGRATS!!!

Now which one of you MSNBC media smear hacks dug through her trash can to get her notes? Did you Jim Popkin? You call yourself a "senior investigative producer" is that true or a misprint? I believe your a long way from a job at unsolved mysteries with your dumpster diving investigating techniques.

Hey! Mr. Popkin! I'm sitting on the edge of my seat for your next "high crimes & mistermeanors" report. Let me guess you uncover that most small towns name their streets after tree's but Sarah Palin renamed the north/south streets after the 12 disciples and the east/west streets after books of the bible and the stop signs were replaced by wooden cross's. Am I close?

Mr.Popkin you look like a complete baffoon passing this report off like you just found the lost stone tablets of the ten commandments under the mayors desk in Wasilla Alaska.

Now I understand why MSNBC sits at the bottom in the news ratings. If Mr. Popkin is a "senior" at this news organization just can imagine what the under belly looks like for "reporting".

Mr. Popkin "thank you" for showing your ignorance in doing so you showed yourself to be irrealavent as a "objective" journalist.
She is oblivious and ill-equipped to be a V.P. of a fast food chain let alone a V.P. of this nation. My God people, what are you thinking? You must be voting for the party and not the person(s).
Wake up America...
I am a wife, mother, and grandmother.  With that said you'd think I am all for Palin becoming our 1st female V.P., but quite the contrary.  I try to be an informed voter, I don't vote party I vote for whom I think is best qualified.  I have watched Palin's interviews aa I have all the candidates.  I must say it terrirfys me to think "if" anything should render Mr. McCain unable to carry out his political duties if he were Pres., our country would be in the hands of this poorly informed lady.  She may be a perfectly nice person but I would no more vote for her, than I would run for political office myself.  I know I'm not qualified to run our country and it appears I'm more "world" polictically informed than she is.  Who in the world could think this lady is after listening to her?  The Bush years have about broke our backs, and  yes, I admit, I did vote for him the 1st term.  I won't be making that mistake this time, Mr. McCain is Bush in another skin, and Mrs. Palin "may" be qualified to be governor but certainly not a heartbeat away from being President.
Sarah Palin is obviously an earnest, industrious, competent small town mayor. She is a very attractive woman. She is interested in making things work and that people around her be held accountable. These are fine qualities and she is no doubt a fine person. She is not qualified to be the President of the United States. (that is the single most important qualification for Vice President in the 21st Century). That is not her fault. By her own admission she said that she accepted because John McCain said that she could help him to lead the country. She is patriotic and said, "yes sir". Nothing to fault her for. She has shown by her responses to several interviews that she is not capable at this point to be President.  That is not her fault. The blame lies squarely on the shoulders of John McCain, who has clearly demonstrated that he no longer possesses the judgment, temperament, or rational thought processes necessary to govern this country. He should stay in the Senate, or better yet, retire and enjoy life on another stage of service to his country. He deserves it, he has earned it. And we cannot afford the grave risk to our nation or the world which the election this pair would represent. It's a pity because he would have been a worthy opponent to Al Gore in 2000 and I think our country would have been far better served if he had been the Republican nominee over the Shrub as Molly Ivens so mischievously put it.
comments have been censored and approved by thr angry left, tyvm
Sarah calls, waving her arm...

This way, Lemmings...and all the little Republicans line up behind her.
AS FAR AS i'M CONCERNED HER FILES CAN CONTINUE TO BE LOST...SHE IS A BIG FAT LOSER.
re: The lost Palin files:
Thank you for this telling report. I believe that all of these tidbits assist to give a clear picture of a candidate that remains dangerously detached from public scrutiny. Unfortunately, there are many in this country that think this is a sexist article; however, the sexism comes from those who would rather not question and analysis the character of this person. If one of the male candidates for President or Vice-President wrote thank you notes with smile faces, would we think they were TRUE Americans? Or, would we think they  were wimpy and not able to govern?
Buck up America...  if women are to become truly equal, they need to compete on a level playing field.
I'm smiling at all the fuss this little note gets, both positive and negative. I,as most alaskans, simply like our governor for who she is. Please investigate for yourselves how much she has done for us in such a short time in office. If she can do this in Washington, then our loss is everyone else's gain
Response to the man from Washington who is tired of politicians who 'don't get Main Street' and wants someone with small town 'thinking' in office...I don't think being 'Harvard-educated' - as you allude to Obama -has anything to do with not knowing Main Stree.  Or that being a lawyer somehow disqualifies you from being a 'small town thinker'.

It used to be that the education of a presidential candidate was a very important factor.  Graduating 894 out of 899 in your Navy class or taking 4 colleges to get a degree in Journalism doesn't seem to instill the kind of presidential confidence the way getting an undergraduate degree in political science with a concentration in international relations and graduating with honors with your juris doctorate does.

But back to the 'small town' ideals....I would have to say of the 2 candidates; the one MOST like Main Street would have to be Obama.  One house, one car, two careers, student loans and all the headaches that come with life.  McCain??  Millionaire wife, 7 homes, 13 cars, loads of staff to cook and clean.  His wife's $300,000 convention attire.  His daughter's Christian Louboutin $1000 shoes...My bet is with the exception of campaigning, he hasn't been on a Main Street in years.  And let's not forget how each man grew up.  Who is more 'Main Street', the spoiled Admiral's son; or the son of a woman on food stamps?  The man who is going to 'get' our Main Street lives is the man who actually lived it.

"When times are tough, I'm going to vote for the guy with one house.  He has the most to lose".  Chris Rock

BTW, I am proud of Sarah Palin for getting to where she is today.  I don't agree with her on one single issue, and think that she can't be as dumb as the McCain campaing is letting her look.  My guess is she is using them as much as they are using her and when McCain does end up losing...it won't be the last you see of Sarah Palin.
With the grave issues facing our country right now, do we want Barbie-Doll the Clueless a heartbeat away from the Presidency? I've seen American voters do dumb things--such as elect George Bush twice--but putting her in as VP would be the ultimate. Choosing her as his running mate says a lot more about McCain than her. His most important decision so far, and......what? Who?
I watched her interview on CBS evening news with Katie Couric, and couldn't believe what I was hearing!
She had no clue what she was talking about.
Can you see her in the position of "Dear God", President!
I do not know much about McCain and his policies but at least I have somewhat of a clue.
She looked like an unprepared interviewe for a job she is not qualified for.
She did not come prepared.
I guess if I were thinking of hiring her,I'd think twice. In fact I would have cut yhe interview short. Katie, you should know better if
the first part of the interview is going bad, you should find something else to repalce the second part.
She wasn't worth yur time or the publics' time.
God forbid, being a "Hockey Mom", she'll probably have a bake sale in the White House to raise funds for the next bailout, but then maybe not, no amount of "bake sales" can get us out of this mess she and her GOP party have gotten us into.
I can't believe some reporter hasn't picked up on Palin's "When Putin raises his head," right ut of the Book of Revelation, when the beast (serpent/satan) raises his head. So she thinks Russia is the antichrist? Gee, someone told me that was Obama.
you know whats funny? that most of the women that dog Mrs. Palin are probably not very good looking.People, here we have a WOMAN, that has an iron fist, who believes in her country, who is not an american hater like mr . obama and someone that fears God. If you don't like God in our country, leave! This great country was founded on Christian principles, just look at the old writings of past potus's.
Does John McCain's age and health history scare me NO. Does Sarah Palin's lack of experience scare me NO. Why? because even with her total lack of experience and qualifications to be president she would still be better than Bush has been. Pretty sad, but you see no matter who wins the election, we all win
You know, I think it's nice to see a sense of community and respect from our politicians.  It must have been wonderful for the people of Wasilla to know that she cared so much for them as individuals as she left their small toen of less than 6000 in 2 million dollars worth of debt.  It's great to know that she sent a smiley letter to congress telling them how much that Alaska needed the Bridge to Nowhere.  It must have been an even greater smiley note when the project that she endorsed failed and she refused to return the funding.  Or how about the note she must have sent to Walt Monegan, telling him to fire her Ex-Brother-in-law just for divorcing her sister.

Quite frankly, this woman is politics as usual. She's no breath of fresh air, she's just a political tool used by the republican party to woo irate Hillary voters.  Too bad that the republicans think that women vote with their reproductive organs and not thier brains.

Somewhere in the world a repressed Cinimax Librarian weeps.   Just say NO to McCain/Palin!
It's called kill em with kindness. Thank you notes to people she LIKES doesn't make her a great person, and it doesn't mean she isn't. I have a feeling tho, that people who think she's a breath of fresh air will be choking on it.
Wow, people were actually impressed that she writes Thank You's? Not much of a threshold for y'all, huh? God forbid she be able to construct a coherent sentence. By the way, the Pledge of Allegience was written by a Christian Socialist in 1892, and didn't include 'Under God.' But, I guess, "If it was good enough for the founding fathers"... Sarah, dear, you are a Black Hole of ignorance. Call me élite for not believing humans lived with dinosaurs too. Darn that science, history, grammar, and all other sorts of learnin'! Sarah never lets facts get in her way! She's just 'aww shucks' charmed her way through life.
Funny how so many of the posts in this thread seem to demean Governor Palin for having manners and being involved in her childrens lives. Somehow many of you feel that a woman cannot be an effective Governor and a human being with a family and manners.
Governor Palin, does seem to be an effective governor, in that she has accomplished specific goals she set out to and still has an approval rating three times that of her opponent.
Whether you feel that she is qualified to be vice-president is a fair question. But if you are going to admonish her for being able to be successful and still have time for her family, perhaps you should also tell every other working mother in this country that she cannot support her childrens interests and still be good at her job.
Nice work.  How about you start Vetting the Presidential Candidates?  Did you forget Biden was in this race?  Is Obama so popular to you that you have decided your network can suffer ratings loss as long as you have airtime to campaign for him?  You are the problem with politics today.
I have some biblical scriptures that Sarah Palin and her supporters might want to meditate upon.  The first is Exodus 21:22--
"If men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she has a miscarriage yet there is no further injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman's husband may demand of him and he shall pay as judges decide.  But if there is further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life."

This clearly states the secondary status of the fetus according to the scriptures.  That the life and health of the mother are of greater importance.

In regard to stem cell research keeping the preceeding conclusion in mind, I refer to Proverbs 3:27
"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it."

Clearly there are some who elevate the mere doctrines of men above the God that they claim to worship.  If indeed those whom we may consider for our EMPLOY are morally deficient in these regards, what else might we infer!
Sarah Palin is a very polite, very attractive young woman who loves her God, her country, and her family very much.  There are millions of women like her in this country, including myself (although I have to say I'm not as cute as Sarah).  With that acknowledgment, Ms. Palin is no more qualified to be vice-president and potentially president than I am.  I hope everyone how has decided to vote McCain/Palin or is considering that vote will take the time to find out about the issues facing our country right now and their candidate's position on them.  If you've done well under the Bush administration and you're happy with the job W. has done, then vote McCain/Palin.  If your retirement stock account has increased and your grocery bill has gone down, vote McCain/Palin.  If you don't mind paying three dollars a gallon (or more) for your gasoline, then vote McCain/Palin.  If you're OK with our country's racking up more and more of a deficit that someone, someday is going to have to pay, then vote for McCain/Palin.  Just remember that the next thank-yous Sarah will be writing are to the big oil companies and the banks and other financial institutions that we taxpayers just bailed out.  These are the folks who really want McCain/Palin in office.
"What happened in Alaska should have stayed in Alaska"
As an Alaskan I can tell you that Gov Palin is NOT ready to be president...unless you want business as usual..you know, underhand politics, sneaky, snarky communications and an inability to keep personal, public, and private lives separate.  Pls someone give this woman a job and keep her out of Alaska...She is unfit for the VP job.
When I try to connect with the archived article regarding Obama's relationship with terrorist William Ayres, the link keeps returning me to this article on Palin.  What gives?
It is so hard to believe how many unAmerican, Godless people there are in the world today. Where did we go wrong? Was it the parents of the baby boomers that gave way to no Church, No God and no America? Have our young children been deserted by their parents. It is with your parents that you learn the values of life.
